The base material of "Mirkwood" is frosted pine dupioni silk, and the applique and metallic threads are in different shades of golds, coppers, and greens. The theme is inspired by the mythology of J.R.R. Tolkien. All satin stitching is freehand machine work. This dress was sold in the summer of 2004.
