“Deep Water,” is a one-off original design Irish dance dress, designed by Debra Murphy and sewn by Rachel Murphy of Silverlode Needlecraft. The base material is Caribbean blue raw dupioni silk, and the appliqué includes a variety of glitterdot and metallic fabrics in the tranquil but bold shades of sapphire, blue-green, and silver-white. All the satin stitching is freehand machine work, in shades of jade, sapphire, blue, and silver. The dress, two-shouldered cape, and tiara are accented with Swarovski (genuine Austrian) crystals in shades of Blue Zircon and Sapphire Aurora Borealis.

The bold, flowing design and glittering fabrics create a sensation of movement, and shimmer beautifully on stage!
