"Morning Jewel" is a new, one-off original design Irish dance dress created for a lovely dancer with Yeates Academy, Portland.

The primary base fabric of this dawn-colored dress is a fuchsia-gold metallic silk beneath a coppery-peach “falling rain” netting. The appliqué consists of various metallic fabrics (glitterdot, lamés, brocades, etc.) in shades of golds, rose- and raspberry-pinks, and coppers. The embroidery is freehand machine work in metallic shades of the same colors. The skirt lining and bloomers are made of a dark gold liquid lame. The pleats—front and back—are a beautiful, dark-copper glitterdot. The dress is accented with Swarovski crystals in the colors of Fuchsia, and Topaz and Crystal Aurora Borealis. There are approximately 400 crystals on this dress!
